Each day I feed my lacewings their fill. Aphids, mites, thrips, and caterpillars. Their wings are most beautiful after about three weeks, the harvesting is done with nets and a rubber mallet. They are relieved from their mortal burden in a blinding instant of white death and return to a space between cells. In a great wing made of living glasss.
